Concealer is okay but the powder is amazing for oily skin!
The concealer is wonderful. No matter how much I may use it looks like skin. It blends so smooth. The powder is finely FINELY milled and perfect. Neither is out of my handbag. The coverage is light and airy and blends in. Never cakey and the powder is so so fine.
I have a tough time finding a complexion product that (1) matches my very light skin tone and (2) doesn't sit on top of my skin and settle into my pores. I purchased translucent fair (N). For context, Salt New York's N13 Sneaky Skin Tint is a perfect shade match for me (I just prefer a different delivery for complexion sometimes).
--This concealer is absolutely beautiful. The color is 9/10--it's not quite light enough for me, but it's so close. After I buff it into my skin with a brush, it melts into my skin and looks totally natural. It doesn't streak like other liquid complexion products I've tried. The only time I see it settle in my pores is when my technique is off. It has enough opacity that it helps correct my redness (from rosacea) even if I don't want to use a green color corrector. I feel like Me 2.0 when I'm wearing the concealer.
--The powder is lovely. The texture is fine so it lays nicely on the skin. But it's not so fine that it creates a cloud when I touch my brush into it. I use a lot of skin care and I would say my skin can be a little oily (from being dry, lucky me), so I'm careful not to apply a bunch of powder because at a certain point it builds and looks powdery on the skin. This is just user error though.
Overall, this was totally worth it and I'm happy to have found such a great little duo for my complexion.
You never know if the match is gonna really be legit. I've done a few of these with other brands. I was impressed enough but this one was really truly amazing.
